Tena salah satu grup Teater di Medan yang masih eksis di bawah arahan Yan Amarni Lubis. Produksi Teater Nasional ( Tena ) memang tidak banyak di usianya yang hampir setengah abad.

Burhan Piliang, Isqak,S, Mazwad Azham, Sori Siregar dan Rusli Mahadi adalah pendiri Teater Nasional , tepatnya tanggal 28 Oktober 1963, dengan produksi ' Garis Pisah' karya Taguan Hardjo, yang di pentaskan di Balai Prajurit dekat kantor Pos Besar Medan.

THEATER

To come to the theater, watching the play funny, sad or terrible, the audience must be really ready to come to watch the show at present. Catch a performance art is not the same as dangdut musical performances or the like. Watching the play, we must be prepared with a scalpel that is in our thoughts each.
The play comes from the word 'password' and 'wara'. The password is vague. Wara synonymous with the show. Now we are more familiar with the title theater arts.

What gains and losses go to the theater? Fortunately we see life events of the players played on stage as if real. Harm? If we see no movement in unison with the soul that is in the mind.

Let's ask one of the spectators.

"You like to go to the theater?
"Like it. I used to theatrical time in school."
"Now you be a spectator. No you desire to get back to playing in front of an audience?"
"Of course I want. But I am now too old. It's hard to memorize the script."
"Any story you've ever played when the school first?"
"I once played Romeo Yessss .... In the scene I kissed her lips Yuliet ha ha ha ...."
"You really fall in love with your main opponent?"
"Yes. I fell in love. Yuliet finally really become my wife. This is it. Yuliet me. I do not Romeo kill himself ha ha ha ...."
